You're No Good VH II tone whaddya think ?

Here is a tidbit of You're No Good , I warmed up the volume swells too fast in the beginning that I know and It still may be just a little to hot, his tone on that record was not that chunky to me but what do you guys think of the tone here and the playing also, honesty does not bother me if you think it sounds like sucking shit thru a straw then say so [img]images/smilies/icon_thumb.gif[/img]

wtg cool playing tone sounded tad to trebly on my end but was still cool wtg.

Great playing/sound ROL....I would darken it up a tad and it is a bit hot....but I'll bet it sounds good live and it's fun to play like that anyway. I tend to play on the hot side, but then back off when recording.

yea it's funny I would swear it is not that hot live, but sure as hell sounds that way after I recorded , I'm sittiere here comparing my live sound with that recorded sound and it definatly came thru hotter and that would account for the trebly sound too, I think it's my mic, I need to buy an SM-57 I'm using a $30 intrument mic I got from Joe's Taco stand and Mic shop [img]images/smilies/icon_doh.gif[/img]

Joe's taco stand must make good mic's. I use an SM-57 and just got a new preamp...I'll post a test clip I just finished.
