Diehard VH fan in Philadelphia

I've been lurking in the shadows for a few weeks on this site, posting occasionally. I'm a singer/bass player from Philadelphia and diehard VH fan since 1982. We've talked back and forth a bit, but I haven't met him yet. I will probably hook up with him and his crew at one of the local shows. I dig this board though, no bullshit. Guys, thanks for the warm welcome. I'm giving notice though, I'm here to represent Mikey too! Eddie's the king and all but we need some more bass players in here, lol!(I say this as I get my first guitar after years of playing bass) By the way, when I get past Window Shopper do I get a chip or something?

Remind me to tell you my tequila story from the Dave/Sammy show in NC. Mas Tequila? I had a bucket, a funnel, and the attention of 10 of NC's finest. Let me tell you that your chances of convincing them that you're sober enough to see the rest of the show with your left shoe missing,(never found it), a t-shirt full of vomit and half a hot dog in your hand are quite slim. Sammy killed though, I do remember that. The only thing I remember about Dave was I'm fairly sure he was there, lol. [img]images/smilies/afro.gif[/img]

Not better then my tequila story from the Kiss/Aerosmith show last year.

Met up with some friends on a side street downtown before we took the ferry over to jersey. I brought my bottle of Cabo along, we had beers and my friend made some jungle juice. It was fuckin 95 degrees in the shade man and we're puttin it in. I swear I must have sweated off about 5lbs that night, thats how steamy it was. Anywho, we get on the ferry and I scope out this fine ass blonde with lil shorts on. I go and stand next to her while talkin to my pal who is drunk off his ass at this point. I said somethin bout Van Halen and the blonde was like, you like them? I said yea, and she was like that's cool so do I. She started goin on about how much she loves Dave and yadda yadda yadda. I asked her what she had in her little container that she was holding. She offers me some and tells me its tequila. My body is going, NO MAS! But my brain says fuck it. So I take a few swigs of it while we're talkin and shit. The next thing I know, we're engaded in a full on lip lock session for the rest of the boat ride. Dont really remember much of it, but my friends told me that we were gettin down over there, and still tease me about the shit. Never got the chicks number after all that, so I never saw her again.
