I'm a Mortgage Broker (beginning in March of 2004) and a
Guitar Tech. I've been working on guitars off and on since 1974. I was also a computer network engineer.
Self taught - Mel Bay showed me a few basic cords, a friend showed me a few barre cords and I went from there! I started out in the 70's playing the then current rock stuff. My favorite bands were ZZ Top,
Lynyrd Skynyrd & Led Zepplin. We also played Bad Company, Aerosmith, Nazareth, and many others.
I quit playing for about 17 years (while I raised a family). Started back in 1997, playing mostly blues, a little jazz and Christian contemporary. About a year later, I began to play in the Church Praise Band (still doin' that). This Sept, I started also playing in a band for a youth outreach ministry on Friday nights (a lot more rockin' Christian music). I also have played in each Christmas and Easter musical at my church since 1999.
