jazz guitar

Hi there guitarists,

Dutchguitarfreak hipped me to this site.

I am jazz guitarist from the Netherlands. I did a lot of rock and blues when I was younger but lately I have been focussing mostly on jazz. I play archtops like the ES 175 and the ES 335.

Here is a clip that even non-jazzers may dig. It's a jazz rendition of "Still Got the Blues." The chord progression of this tune is similar to an ancient jazz standard "Autumn Leaves" and that's why it's very suitable for jazz playing.

I'll post some more straight ahead jazz guitar clips later if you like.

I never use overdubs in my playing, videos can only be recorded in real time ...

Hope you like it ...

Regards,

Dick from the Netherlands
