yo, whats up, I am a new guy.

I have been coming here for awhile, reading posts and listening to everyones tracks. I thought it was time I got involved so I wanted to start posting.

I am 28 years old and I am a guitar performance major in college. I have played guitar for about 10 years and percussion for about 15. I have played in a lot of bands and recordecd alot but I wanted to go to college for music and get really serious about it. I work as a recording engineer in a studio and I also run live sound a couple times a week. I have worked in a few different recording studios and I have a home studio, so I have alot of experience in that area. So if you have any questions about home recording or recording in the studio maybe I can help.

One thing I really like about this forum is that everyone wants to help eachother out and give positive feedback. It is not about ripping eachother apart and saying "you suck" This is a great place to get honest feedback that you can use to improve your playing.

I am hoping to learn some tips/tricks about guitar from you guys and I hope I can participate in some jams or post some tracks.
