Any of you cats seen Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban yet ?
I have a gripe about it, but dunno if anyone has seen it yet. Alsi, I need to confirm that my gripe is a gripe, and not a mistake on my part.
Fabulous film, but there was just one aspect of it that pissed me off. And no, it wasn't the new Dumbledore, I thought he was great.

I can't get into these movies or books. This one does have my boy, Gary Oldman, in it though!

Yeah, he's as good as ever in it. Not that he actually has much screen time mind.
Bugger, I will have to check my DVDs tonight, but I am sure that I am right...

If you've seen the other two, then take a look at the distance of The Whompin' Willow and Hagrid's Hut from Hogwart's and compare them with how close they used to be...
Cheers,

You fucking wait ! Suddenly, Hogwarts isn't as close as it used to be. And we're just supposed to accept the change in dimensions without saying anything.
I mean, what is this, a fucking kids film ???
Oh, wait.... Hold on....

I am going to see it this weekend. When you read the book, the writer makes you picture it closer than it used to be. I thought It was in a totally different location myself. Oh well, Id go see it anyways just to have a look. Great Book.

Re: Any of you cats seen Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban yet ?
Sunnie, I meant in relation to the first movies. I may be wrong though. I'll pull out the other two movies and watch them some time, to be sure...
Anyway, it might have been shot in Scotland, but I know a lot was shot in Virginia Water, because it's just up the road from me, and the place went crazy.
Also, his house that they use in the film, is just round the corner from me, and that's improved house prices in that area. Not that they actually need anymore inflations !!!

Re: Any of you cats seen Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban yet ?
Well, There has been definate changes in this one.
I finally saw it.
MOndola, I was talking about the movies in relationship to the books. I could be wrong, but its set up in the book is not the same as the movie.
Still a great film and I cant wait to view it at home. and Ill be the first one in line for the next one too.
That would be rad having been so close to its filming.
BTW, beautiful country you live in.

Re: Any of you cats seen Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban yet ?
Heh,
I just found out that the guy who works with me actually bought and now lives in Harry Potter's house ! The one that was used in the first two films ! He even watched the movie in slow-mo on DVD and then zoomed in so he could buy the same flower pots as were outside.
Apparently, he gets tourists knocking on the door at 7:30 in the morning, and everything.
How mad is that ?
Yeah, I can't wait for the next one either, and will get this on DVD.
When the weather is nice over here, there's fewer beautiful countrys than England.
