Best Family Film Ever??
I was just flipping channels and I came across this movie on TBS called "Matilda". Never heard of it before but I saw Danny Devito so I decided to give it a go. OMG this movie is freakin awesome!!! This movie has to be the most darkest, twisted, plain out coolest, most hilarious (if you're into dark comedy) kids movie I've ever seen.
Turns out the movie is directed by DeVito and is based on a Roald Dahl story (the same guy who wrote Charlie and the Chocalate Factory). I have no idea what Dahl's life was like but I do know the guy had SERIOUS issues. Hahah its like he sets off to write all these sweet children stories but then he starts twisting his stories so that the children are abused and killed, wtf??
Anyways, if you haven't seen it, "Matilda" ROCKS!! Its all about this elementary school run by a sadisitc dominatrix who enjoys picking up little children by their pig tails and shot putting them about 350ft into an iron fence.
Hah, funniest movie I've seen in a LONG time.

R Dahl was a seriously good writer. His kid books are excellent and the adult fiction books are very entertaining. His stuff is normally quite dark and has a few devious twists. I was going to say a bit like tim burtons films only I didn't realise that burton was remaking Charlie and The Chocolate Factory. There is a match made in heaven. lol.

Wow they are remaking Charlie And the Chocolate Factory? i don't mean to be a downer but I'm not so sure about that one. How can you beat Gene Wilder? You cant bring back the magic of that movie, especially with Johnny Depp. :P

OMG, those pictures look, umm....... bad. There I said it.
Haha, who the hell is that guy in the red suit with the antennas? It looks like it's Mork's older brother (and why is he wearing the Wicked Witch of the East's socks? Didn't Dorothy crush those hmmm..)
Oh yeah, I've heard that this movie is supposed to be more faithful to the book. I've never read the book, but is Wonka really suppose to be homosexual like he is in those pictures above??
Well, actually, that picture of Augustus looks awesome and anything by Elfman just rocks (he is my favorite composer).
