Far Cry (pc game)

Woah! Ok, so I'm a few years to late, but I just got my new pc and I've been checking out this Far Cry game. Holy mother of god, I don't think I've ever seen graphics on this level before (and I've played F.E.A.R. and Doom 3).

Normally I'm not blown away by graphics, but man, this game is like a quantum leap ahead in graphic quality. When I got my first view of the island I thought I was watching an episode of Lost or something on television (and , oddly enough, the plot kind of reminds me of Lost).

The water graphics are unreal. And man, the grass and shrubbery is just insane. Anyways, in the unlikely chance you've never played this and you like first-person shooters, definately check this one out. You've got to see these graphics.

Yes, Far Cry is a good one. Multi-player isnt too hot though. Wait until Ghost Recon Advance Warfighter comes out in a couple weeks. Reviews are pumping it up quite a bit. Clancy shooter games always have good mult-player too. http://www.ghostrecon.com/us/

Far Cry was a great game, but the ending is so difficult!!! I have never had so many problems trying to complete a game...(like at least a month believe that!!!). I like how it's lets you interact with vehicles, and is very open in it's exploration value. Have fun!! Was a great game..i second that!

Yeah I liked Far Cry a lot. but I think Doom 3 had the better graphics - in fact I can't remember a game that had me more apprehensive about opening a door

Farcry was really cool though and the graphics were impressive, especially the water and foliage. Sergio is right though .. the ending was just so bloody difficult.

I agree with Da Jungle the multi player wasn't that hot and that is what does it for me on those games. Other than that it was a good game and I think you will enjoy it all they way through the end Ulnie
