Garfield : The Movie ?
Always liked Garfield and his dry sense of humour and his pushing of Odie off the table.
Anyone seen this, it says it's out in the states.
Just looking at the photos, and although Garfield looks as fat and lazy as ever, I must say that I am disappointed in Odie....
But, anyone like to tell me whether it is worth seeing ?
Cheers...

Re: Garfield : The Movie ?
Okay, so no-one's actually seen it on here then.
Oh well, it'll just be a surprise when it comes out. Me and the missus will go and see it, because we are both big kids !
So long as he pushes Odie off the table at least once, I'll be happy !!!!

No, the wife saw it on the T.V. and said she'd take me to see it. She judged by my number of Garfield books (favourite one : I Hate Mondays) that I'd like it.
Going by the reviews, it seems that Garfield is very accurate (apart from sleeping in a real bed, not a box), but everything else hasn't had the detail added.
e.g.:
<ul type="square">[*]Jon can actually dress with style[*]He gets the girl[*]Odie doesn't drool[*]Nermal isn't a cute, grey kitten, he is a Siamese stray[*]etc...[/list]

Re: Garfield : The Movie ?
I saw this with my 3 year old son and he wanted to leave 45 minutes through it because "it wasn't funny".
After we left, I apologized to him for not liking it and he said, "It's not your fault, daddy. The people who made it just didn't make it funny!"
Did I say he's only 3?

Re: Garfield : The Movie ?
I was waiting for your opinion on it. Hmm, maybe I'd best stick to my books then eh ?

Anyway Spiderman 2 and Shrek 2 are out, I'll go see them instead...
And Alien vs Predator, so long as it gets good reviews and is better than Alien 4 (could it be any worse ?).
