Paul Stanley Solo Show
I saw Paul Stanley last night in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. Had front row (sorry I couldn't get my camera in so no pictures). What a freakin' great show that was. If the tour stops in your area check him out. He had the backing band of the TV show Rockstar. The set list is available on www.paulstanley.com. He did solo stuff and Kiss stuff. For being in his fifties, 2 hip replacement surgeries, and a new born kid, Paul can still kick ass.

I'm pretty sure it was a Washburn made guitars. I don't know the model but I remember the headstock having the Washburn logo on it.

I think you're right. He signed a contact with Washburn recently.

I think that's a new signature model for him. If you look at the headstock in some of the pics, you can see his signature between the pegs. Just might have to check one out if it is, as the Silvertone guitars were crap.
No info in the Washburn site (other than a forum admin confirming it is Washburns he is playing), but the body style looks remarkably close the the Dean Cadillac models.

I just checked out some of his new songs. Different...thats for sure. Contemporary Hard rock sound meets 80's lyrics and arrangements is what I got out of it. Kinda Nickelback meets Survivor is the best way I can describe it. I'm glad he's still out there kickin' ass though and what a smart move on his part to grab the "rockstar" back up band. Even if the songs are weak (Just my own opinion of course) the live show must be kickass!

I had caught 2 picks from the show. One from Paul and one from the house band guitar player. I sold Pauls on Ebay for $50. I think I'll use the other pick as it would cost more than it's worth!

I like the part where you said New born kid. When really he is pretty old now But how hard is it to make a kid?
