Shaun of the Dead

Woah, this movie is awesome!!! Why is it the Brit's have such a more highly developed sense of humor than us Yanks (see Coupling MMmmmm...best tv show ever). Anyways, yeah! Go see Shaun of the Dead, that one scene when Freddy Mercury come on the jukebox alone is enough to get my vote for best comedy of the year (hahah cuesticks haha).

There's a few series you ought to check out that are big biz over here in the UK...

World Shut Your Mouth...pure lunacy that starts every week with Dom (the guy who writes the show) looking at one of the most amazing sites like the Great Pyramid or the Taj Mahal. He's dressed as a native and is mingling with the tourists who are photographing whatever landmark it is. He will then say 'The Great Pyramid...ancient symbol of Egyptian civilisation'. All around him murmur and bill and coo over this and agree in hushed tones. Then he'll say 'That is SHIT!' All around him people run or cower with embarrasment. Great fun.

Little Britain...probably the one that has the nation either loving or hating it but definitely the most talked about show of the moment. Brainchild of Matt Lucas and David Walliam. The last series has just finished. I think they are genius bordering on insanity but they've pushed the envelope on good taste right out into the sea. Marvelous!

Spaced is pretty good in the same way as 'The Royle Family' was but less of a biopic. There's some good stuff coming out of the UK. Have to admit tho, just got into '24' as the first episode of the 4th Season started last night and it's the first time I've watched it. Tight...

Yeah, I think '24' is about the best thing American tv has to offer at the moment (unless you Brits get South Park or Crank Yankers).

For some odd reason, I cannot bring myself to watch Desperate Housewives. Maybe it's just that there's been so much media-overkill for it.
