This Was A Terrible Tradgedy , And By All Accounts One That Could Easily Of Been Averted . I Think Every Country On The Planet Had Some Representitive In Those Buildings On That Fateful Day , And The Horror Of It All Is Still Etched Into Those That Watched It Unfold On The Tv .
Hollywood Has A Habit Of Making Movies About Disasters And Tradgedies , I Remember The Case Of Jack The Ripper From The Mid Eighties , Poor Jacklyn Hill , The Rippers Last Victim And A Close Nieghbour Had Only Been Dead A Couple Of Years And They Wanted To Make A Movie About Him .
I Think This Is Deeply Insensitive Of Hollywood To Produce Such A Movie , In The Light Of The Pain And Suffering Still Plaguing Those That Lost Loved Ones .

I don't think this movie is insensative at all, nor do I think that making money on it is disrespectful. This movie is about HERO's. Many that are often unknown or forgotten. These policemen risked their lives for others by going into that building and then 2 Marines risked their lives to save them. In all the negativity that we have been subjected to since 9/11 I think it's great for us to see something positive. The families involved in this disater gave the making of the movie their blessing and people have a choice wether or not to see it. If you think it's too soon or in bad taste, dont see it. I didn't know about this story so I am greatful they made the movie so I can be aware that there are beautiful people in the world. Not just terrorists and murderes who are usually the main charaters in both the headlines and the movies.
