I usually hate live debates as it really doesn't give either party the chance to effectively get their points across (I much rather prefer the written word), but since Zappa is like my top third musician of all time, I loved every second of this, I was really dissapointed when I saw the video timer approaching its end, knowing that its a shame Mr. Zappa will never have the opportunity to do that again.

I've got to agreee with that guy above, that really was one of the best debates I've ever seen. Mainly because both the adversaries were so damn quick witted (how the hell do they debate like that, if that was me on the spot I'd be all uh.....ummmmm....hmmmm.*crickets*).

Yeah, I was rolling on the floor watching Zappa make a fool of that Lofton(?) guy, (although Zappa did have the easier of the two positions to defend).

Well of course, Zappa was one of the most intelligent musicians of his time. That was a fun debate to watch tho
