Mondola is right on this... Flame refers to the grain of the wood in the body. Neck grain is called figuring. Birdseyes are defined as a tight curling grain in the neck. Highly figured necks on Wolfgang Specials are somewhat uncommon, but not considered rare by any means. With Wolfgangs being mass produced it would be hard to base an opinion of "rare" on one persons observations.
Having a lil manners towards senior and more experienced people here on 101 really goes along way also.
