Posting tracks into new threads - Guitars101

Of course, it's up to you how you want to post your tracks. A suggestion though is to start a new topic for each track, this way they are easier to search and this forum will look more plentiful.

To save space, what I plan to do is post in the "my own works" thread I have going, and then make a new post for the track and copy and paste the link there.

Sounds like a good idea PG, this is only a suggestion though we are just glad to have you guys posting so however you like to do it works for me.

I'm all for the new post for each song. Else we gotta hunt for them. Not a problem now with hardly any here - but as the collection shows 100s of files, it will be a total mess. (again)

I think POD GOD's idea has merrit. I think I will do it that way for mine.

It might also help for when those of us that need, eventually, to save room for new BT's start deleting old ones. When someone bumps the thread it was in and requests a repost it will show up better.

Yeah, good call - since the people looking for a track don't really care who upped it, so keeping them in under each person's name has no benifet. Posting them individually with the name of the artist then song in the subject line for sorting - would make for a better system in the long run. I'm sure the admin is thankful for any and all contributions - so it's nice to say "I'll take them anyway you want to give them".. but I'd make it a rule if it was my system.
