Anthrax opening for Judas Priest

Remember these guys?????????

Well the classic Anthrax lineup of Danny, Scott, Joey, Charlie and Frankie are back and opening for some Priest shows coming up.

Dates: http://anthrax.com/NFWS/

I own the first 5 Anthrax albums and have always been a big fan. Danny Spitz and Scott Ian are insane guitarists and those old riffs still get me pumped.

I'd love to see one of those shows but I'm in Texas.

yeah I heard "I am the Law" and "Cry for the Indian" on the radio this weekend and it made me dig up all my old Anthrax (Cassettes). These guys really tear it up. I wasn't into the "rap/metal" stuff they experimented with later on but I still love these guys.

Yeah Priest kicks major ass in concert. They are so different now than in the early days but its all good. I can listen to Sad Wings of Destiny album, Screaming for Vengeance, and then play the new Angel of Retribution and get the same high! There is no better drug than Priest and I'm addicted.:drunk:

This will be awesome!!

Joey Belladonna and I are from the same city...and are friends.

I'm so glad that Anthrax patched up the old rift with Joey!

I saw Anthrax live at the Hammersmith Odeon in 1987, it was the one where they recorded the video and me and my mates are seen moshing about in the front row. I still have some of Scott Ian's guitar picks he threw at me.

Also Testament's Vocalist (Testament supported Anthrax) Chuck Billy was stood behind me for the entire Anthrax set and I got his autograph.

The whole band were very cool, and hilarious...then they went HIP HOP with PE and I went off 'em. Thanks for posting the thread, it's brought back alot of memories!
