Dream Theater DVD- Metropolis 2000 SFAM live in New Yorrk

This is both a review and a thank you. Just recently got a new Toshiba lap-top and also some nice Altec Lansing speakers to go with it. What better way to try them out than with this DVD. This album was a huge part of my life back in 2000...there was nothing to better it. I got a suprise when Mondola got me this for Xmas and so was giving it an air. It sounds and looks AMAZING and the fact they have some on-stage actors for some of the parts adds to it as when I saw them at the start of the tour in London, they only had some screen visuals.

Anyway, first off BUY IT, you won't regret watching some of the best instrumentalists really going for it.

That DVD is a must have for any fan of... well... music.

I love the commentary part, I think it's great to hear the musicians's (?) part of view on the stuff.

No probs mateski. I "backed it up" before I sent it on to you, just in case you ever lost it or it got scratched or stolen or you lent it to someone and never got it back.

I put it on the other day while I was watching the little one and she was absolutely loving it up until the bit where he sings, "Hello Victoria, so nice to see you, my friend..."

As soon as the drums came in, she shat herself.

Anyway, she seemed to like it quite a bit, but I couldn't turn it up too loud or watch it properly because she wanted to be played with so I couldn't really watch it that much. Then something came on that the wife wanted to watch and off it went.

I'm looking forward to watching it over the next week or so when I have the house to myself where I will watch the final scene in freeze frame to figure out the ending.

It's scheduled in right after the Pornathon...
