Eddie and the board

Hello.

Can anyone tell me when Eddie did his trick where he supported the guitar with a board and played it with 2 hands on the fretboard? What songs did he do it on and when did he start?

Part of it is in Judgement Day...just before the solo and at the end.

The 2 hands on the fretboard run did end up in the solo to Judgement Day but I believe he first did the 2 hands thing with the a board supporting the guitar on the 1984 tour, I'm pretty sure he would use it for a 2 hand run on the fretboard (like in Judgement Day) during his solo spot.

During the 1984 tour, Ed used an "L shaped" piece of plexiglass to support the guitar so he could play it like a piano. Here is a picture of it:

yeah ! i remember reading an interview with ed talking about it ... that's a pretty cool photo btw wip!

i think it looks kinda uncomfortable .. with your back over a bit like that and that pole sticking into you !

Not a pole, it's the edge of the plexiglass.
