Eric Clapton's Crossroads Guitar Festival DVD

This is a must own. Just three hours of complete jamming by rock legends. I bought it tonight and am amazed. Plus the proceeds go to the Crossroads Center for Substance Abuse recovery. Among the guitarists there: Clapton (duh :icon16: ), Jimmy Vaughan, Buddy Guy, Robert Cray, B.B. King, James Taylor, Vince Gill, J.J. Cale, Carlos Santana, John Mayer, Steve Vai, Eric Johnson, Johnny Lang, and Robert Randolph. (and others) Seriously if you see this, buy it.

They showed about an hours worth last night on PBS. Amazing stuff from all those guys, but to be honest, the guy that completly blew me away was Vince Gill...no kidding...that dude was smoking!! I had no idea he could even play more that strumming chords...that clean Tele sound was awesome.

Ya I bought this last weekend and I love it.
I haven't watched the whole thing yet. I watched almost all of the first DVD, and a couple of guys on the second.
Alot of great music and the picture quality is really good so you can learn alot by watching these guys play.
Anyone who plays guitar should own this one.

Agreed with all. I bought it last December, (along with SRV-Live at Montreaux) and I am still blown away every time I watch it.
