I love the most recent Whitesnake live album with Reb Beach and Doug Aldrich on guitarsl. I also have the DVD of that concert. Memorable stuff and perfectly mixed.

Has anyone ever listened to Tinsel Town Rebellion or The Yellow Shark by Frank Zappa? Both are great live albums. Tinsel Town Rebellion is extremely funny. During the concert Frank Zappa ask women to throw their panties on stage since the band is trying to make a quilt out of them once the tour is over.

KISS: Alive is my favorite live album because it was the first rock record I've ever heard. It was what got me into music and for that matter, metal. I pay my respects to them and that kick ass show. The funny thing is, I grew up in long Island, NY. I was 5 years old and rented KISS: Alive from the library. I fell in love
with it instantly. As I got older, I found out that that concert was recorded at the Nassau Coliseum in Long Island, NY!!! I went there to see WWF/WWE events when I was younger.
My other favorites are Megadeth's "Rude Awakening", Lamb of God's "Killadelphia", Children of Bodom's "Chaos Ridden Years: Stockholm Knockout Live", Ozzy's "Live at Budokan" and "Live and Loud", also Iron Maiden's "Rock In Rio"

Probably Live In San Francisco - Al Di Meola, Paco De Lucia and John McLaughlin. I also like most of Eric Johnson's live albums.
