Lotsa Led Zeppelin. Recently purchased the box set and have been repeatedly working my way from album to album. Joe Satriani is omni-present in my CD player. Keller Williams (incredibly creative JamBand type acoustic solo guitarist who does all the instruments himself, even live, utilizing looping pedals and no backing tracks).
As for 'round here....Goport's original tunes (particularly "The Butcher" and "The Darkroom" to name a couple of my faves), Bluesplayer's "The Land We Used to Know," DutchGuitarFreak's "Pigs in Space," Ender's "2 Rivers" to name a few.

Well I thought I'd been listening to a very early (as in not realeased yet!) copy of 'Octavarium' by Dream Theater but Verga tells me it's the new solo album by James LaBrie from the very same group. It's spookily close to Dream Theater in terms of the instrumentalists...I mean one solo sounds SO like Petrucci playing the solo in 'Tha Glass Prison, that if I were in the band, I'd be asking James where he nicked all his friggin' ideas from!!!
Another band I'm really enjoying from the US is Govt. Mule...AWESOME stuff. And I'm relistening to all my old Styx and Kansas albums as both bands are playing in London soon! I'm a sucker for the US bands!
