I like it, But always had a bad taste about Jake until I heard this. Saw him live once with Ozzy struggling desprately to play RR's licks & could'nt come even close.

The show sucked!
Happy to know that he's putting out good stuff now. I'll buy this CD.

Jake E Lee is one of my fave players all time. Unique in every essence. This CD is out since 2005, you have to check it out cause it rocks. Some stuff is too Blues Rock and some very Badlands style. His tone as always pure killer.

Yea, the Bluesy part is what appealed to me, Guess I need to check out Badlands too.

Yep... Badlands were a super band that never get the attention they deserved. Pure rockers and Ray Gillen had that voice of rock found only in 70s mega bands. At some point of my life every morning I putted on the stereo High Wire [Great Tune!]

problem is with guitar9.com is that they have so many damn fine guitarists with cds to choose from, hav ordered a few cds from them in the past and cannot fault them
Badlands should have carried on imo, great band, nice to hear Jake again after all this time tho

Yes..Jake E Lee is a great Blues/Rock player...This CD is definitely a great one !!

It would be hard for Badlands to carry on as Ray Gillen has passed on ... his manager would want waaaaay too high a price at this point.

Seriously, mad props for Ray - who was a great singer. He did one of my favorite George Lynch tunes, "Flesh and Blood."

Must have been a bad night for Jake.

I have heard and seen numerous boots of Jake with Ozzy, Jake had no problem playing Randy's licks, in fact he made it look easy, considering he was jumping around most of the time while playing them. I even liked when he would add his own twist to some of the licks. Plus I always thought Jake's bends and vibrato were much better than Randy's, which I thought sucked...(here come the flames).

Doesn't seem like he's struggling at all.

Plus I have a clip of Jake playing Revelation Mother Earth which he nails. When I have the time i'll upload that.

As for the new CD i'll check it out.
