As a Rock and Blues guitarist I think he's great...even though he's much more versatile and can play anything, I prefer his Rock style.

I think Beck is an incredible, versatile player. I have a lot of his recordings in my collection.

He's got a great playing style too. The way he uses his tremolo to make it sound almost like he's using a slide. I think that's really cool

And the best part about him is that he keeps exploring his guitar!!
He is one my absolute biggest inspirations as a player.
Great stuff and wonderful quirky at the same time!
Lots of edge and fire.

I actually really like his newer stuff. I think the electronic type music sounds really good with some sweet guitar playing

One of my favorite guitar players by far. What a great sense of music and control over the instrument.

Too Experimental. Eric Clapton was better then him by far... He did have a good album with Rod Stewart though

Question

Has anybody heard if Beck plans on releasing a new album sometime soon?

A must have album has to be Blow By Blow , from 1975 , produced by George Martin it his where Jeff went Jazz Rock and got himself all Mega great after been in the doldrums for years , Personally i always feel uncomfortable watching Beck play live , he looks agitated and irksome . sometimes he makes blobs but thats what you get when you push the boundries i guess ......
