Headhunter is probably their best album, before they got bit by the covers bug.I used to buy strings from a place called "The Music Lab" in Lansing,Ill.The guy that used to sell them to me was their bass player last I heard(many many moons ago).

I started listening to Krokus in the early 80's. They had a hit song named "Long Stick goes Boom" and I remember everyone thinking it was AC/DC. They have a similar sound. Great band.
I saw them here in Cleveland earlier this year and, I have to say, it was one of the more kick-ass shows I've seen in a long while. They opened with "Night Wolf" and then went into "Eat The Rich" followed by "Long Stick Goes Boom" - talk about a "one-two-three" punch! While the place (House Of Blues) was far from packed the people that were there were completely into it. The band must have realized this as they were called back out THREE seperate times for encores (better yet, they played 'em too)! Usually the most I've ever seen any band do it come out once or twice.
Afterwards, the band did a "meet & greet" at the merchandise table and stayed until everybody that wanted an autograph or photo got one. They were very appreciative to all they met and were extremely nice as well. Very classy.
Krokus is a great band, saw them in 83 with Def Leppard and Gary Moore. Ballroom Blitz was the last good album they released IMO, but Eat the Rich is one of the great metal albums of the 80s. They always seemed just outside public embrace, like a lot of great 80 bands, perhaps there were so many and only so much room at the top. But they are still around and from it sounds like tearing it up on the small circuit. If they make their way to Phoenix I'll catch them.
Just listened to them, actually the newer albums are better then the old ones imo.
I must say they have a striking recemblence to ACDC, the singer sounds like Bon Scott, hard to tell the difference.
Well, I like it anyway...
Saw them in the mid 80's at a small club in the middle of nowhere, and hung out with their guitar player, although his name slips my mind, very cool guy. We had a lot of beers together that night, they were a really cool bunch of guys. I liked their first couple albums. G
I was involved in the video shoot for the "Ballroom Blitz" single at the Brixton Academy,London.
The band were great and gave everyone who had starred in the promo a copy of their "Change Of Address" album which they then signed, all food and drink was free as well.
i like em alot and my favorite song is Our Love.wish i had a chance to see them live.does anyone know if they still tour and will they be playing the states anytime soon.thanks
