Should be good. It should be all about their good ol days since the name is "When Metallica ruled the world". I dont expect a whole lot from Metallica these days but they're still one of my favorites. Some kind of monster is coming on VH1 in april too.

Not a good idea to troll in a metallica thread...of course everyone is entitled to their opinions but there is not a real need for the post you just posted.

If you don't like metallica either A. dont post in this thread or B. do it constructively.

What's gonna appear? That DVD showing what rich, spoiled, balding musicians they are? I've lost my interest in the band but will give it a look-see. I've heard good things about the dvd even though it seems a tad bit egotistical of them to show such a documentary. I hope that was constructive enough to where it seems like I'm not trolling this thread but call me an agitated, former-fan of the band.

You know I'm really tired of the Metallica bashing...they may have done some things that some fans may not approve of but that doesn't mean that these guys haven't made some of the best hard rock/metal music in history. Kill 'em All, Ride the Lightning, Master of Puppets, And justice for all......these albums are among the best ever made and along with Judas Priest, Metallica has always been one of my favorite bands. Tell me "Fade to Black" isn't a masterpiece? C'mon. One of the best songs ever.

Being successful is not a crime, making one bad album is not a crime. I'm still a Kiss fan despite all their greediness.

If you don't like 'em , don't listen to 'em.

I have mixed emotions about Metallica. Ive never been a huge fan but I like and appreciate the contributions they've made to music over the last 20 years. Their biggest downfall is probably their egos. However, I expect that kind of thing. They have to be one of the best known metal acts on the planet cause i'll bet ya cant say Metallica to too many people that wont know who they are. I guess what I'm saying is they've earned their rightful place!
