Ronni Lé Tekrø (born Rolf Ågrim Tekrø on October 5, 1963)[1] is a Norwegian guitarist best known for playing with the Norwegian hard rock band TNT and as a solo guitarist.

George Lynch of Dokken states Ronni's solo for "Caught between the Tigers" is "a real face-melter. It's spine-tingling."

Zakk Wylde is a big fan of Ronni. Zakk meet Ronni in Norway june 2007, he only referred to him as father Ronni.

Some guys that are probably never talked about because of their guitar playing talents:

Paul Simon
Glen Campbell
Roy Clark
Lester Flat & Earl Scruggs

Yeah, these guys aren't shredder but they all played some mean stuff.

And a 70s shredder:

Jan Akkerman

Billy Duffy from The Cult

Francis Rossi and Rick Parfitt from Status Quo

All highly underated quitarists, nobody plays rhythm guitar like Rick Parfitt has to be seen to be believed.

You said it, brother. I have everything Neal Schon has done in his solo career and it is mind blowing. Have you ever heard the early Journey stuff, pre-Steve Perry. Journey was very progressive at the beginning.

Well...some of these have already been mentioned...some haven't:

Richie Sambora of Bon Jovi
Steve Gaines of Lynyrd freaking Skynyrd
Malcolm Young of AC/DC (I know he's well know...but he's not given enough credit because of his younger brother's antics)
Glen Campbell (I saw a live version of one of his songs...and he tore it up on the solo)
Roy Clark (damn good guitar player)
Lester Flat & Earl Scruggs (hellooo...Dueling Banjos anyone?)
James Burton (Elvis Presley's TCB lead guitar player, country-rock-blues styled players don't get enough credit...just watch the Elvis Lives DVD)
and anyone who's in the road/studio band of a solo singer....they just don't get enough credit...imagine if every solo artist had to announce the members of their band...you'd certainly know who to give credit to then.

EDIT: Damnit how could I forget...Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top....he has to play with his beard for god's sake.

James Murphy, absolute killer guitarist, incredible harmonies!

John Norum 'nuff said

Andy LaRocque - Check his solos out on indivdual thought patterns!

Vito from WhiteLion I heard a rumour he woke and realised he couldnt move his arm or something so he cant play no more. Is that true?

Chris Poland.
The guitarist from Rob Halforlds band Fight. Killer tones!
Rocky George

Leatherwolfs and exodus guitarist, defenitly overlooked X1000

Mindfunk.

JOHN SYKES!!!
I don't think anyone mentioned him yet. He really got the shaft as far as getting credit for his brilliant guitar work on the 1987 Whitesnake album.
I'm glad to see Prince & Neal Schon are getting the props that they deserve. They are my 2 favs.
Frank Zappa
Neil Geraldo
James Burton
Keith Urban
Steve Lukather
Tuck Andress
Robbie Robertson
Brian Setzer
John Frusciante
Lindsey Buckingham

How could I forget James Burton and Keith Urban? D'oh! And Lindsey Buckingham is a pretty good guitarist in his own right...did anyone seen the "CMT Crossroads" episode he was featured on with Little Big Town...he does absolutely fantastic on the solos for "Go Your Own Way" and does great on all the songs.
