SAMMY HAGAR To Open Cabo Wabo Cantina In Lake Tahoe - Mar. 3, 2004

VAN HALEN frontman Sammy Hagar has announced plans to give his Cabo Wabo Cantina a second home on U.S. soil at Harveys in beautiful Lake Tahoe.
The Grand Opening party for the new location will be held Friday, April 30 - Sunday May 1. This weekend-long celebration will include great music, delicious food, skiing, snowboarding and more.
In true Sammy fashion, he will be celebrating his favorite holiday (besides his birthday) with a three-night rock 'n' roll, tequila-soaked bash. SAMMY AND THE WABORITAS (Vic Johnson, David Lauser and Mona) will be partying in the brand new Cabo Wabo Nightclub at Harrah's on Friday April 30, Saturday, May 1 and Sunday, May 2, with surprise appearances by special friends.
In addition, the Cantina will be offering up custom-made "Taho Wabo" apparel, Cabo Wabo (Taho Wabo) commemorative collectible chips and a few more goodies exclusive to the Tahoe location.
