Van Halen preparing new release
LOS ANGELES, Jan. 28 (UPI) --
Sammy Hagar and the rest of
Van Halen are locked away in a California studio, it has
been confirmed by Web site Brave Words and Bloody Knuckles.
There is no information as to whether it is a couple of
tracks they are recording for the widely talked about
Best of Volume II, or a full studio record.
The Sammy Hagar pre-Super Bowl show is said by insiders
to be the occasion for an announcement of a reunion. The
band reportedly is currently booking a summer tour, and
have hand picked Tesla as the opening band.
Tesla's own club and theatre tour starts on March 15 in
Oklahoma City, OK and the band will be performing two
hour sets in each city. The band will release their
long-awaited new album, "Into The Now," through
Sanctuary on March 9
