Planet X

This band is smokin'...Tony MacAlpine on Guitar, Derek Sherinian (Keys, Dream Theater), Virgil Donati (Drums)...Billy Sheehan also plays bass on the Moonbabies album (CD)...I love MacAlpine's guitar tone on the cuts, he's also a great keyboard player...If your not familiar with their music, you should check them out...Fantastic !

Re: Planet X

If I remember rightly, there's more keys than guitar but I think Virgil Donati is an amazing player. Tony'd great but the tracks I heard were very low on guitar...more Sherinian (I'm a DT fan so I love that guys playing as well)

Yes...a lot of keyboards, sample sounds, etc....there is also great guitar solos too...Some of Jeff Beck's solo albums had a lot of keys on the cuts as well...Jan Hammer, did a lot of work with Beck...I'm also into the band "Yes", great keys & guitar in that band as well..."Steve Howe's "Element CD is great !

Re: Planet X

Steve Howe lives down the road! I saw Yes 3 times in '77, 79 and '80 with Trevor Horn and Geoff Downes at the last one. I also delivered to Barriemore Barlow of Jethro Tull the other day. Think he played on 'Black Star' with the Wengmeister!
