OK..minding the boards, I noticed that several of us jammed to the band "SAGA." I think they are totally under-rated and made a big impact on me. I lived off the "Heads or Tails" album for 6 months straight. The guitar guy (Ian) is increadable...(v-amp2 guys...look at your v-amp2 booklette, it shows his tone as a preset! But the band did kick-ass as a whole...the unsung heros imo..

Yeah, they were a complete one-off with that vocal delivery...almost like a prog version of Sparks fi any of you recall a quirky song from the 70's called 'This Town Aint Big Enough For The Both Of Us'. Very keyboard driven riffs but with this amazing Schenker meets Lifeson sounding guitar-work. They're an acquired taste since the heady days of Heads Or Tails but they did about 3 albums that are must hear and for me it's the glorious ballad called 'Intermission' with guitar playing not of this planet.
