I worked at that show, hawking Cokes--really shitty weather, but Ed BY FAR got the biggest cheer of the day when the lineup was announced, Ed's appearance was just a strong rumor until then.

I tried taping it, but the radio station went to commercials after Sammy's little solo set.

Wild Thing was played after Rock And Roll, but the Nashville Network went to the fundraising commercials after RAR, because of Sammy's prodigious use of F-bombs!!
