Re: TEXAS Van Halen fans, check in here...
I grew up in Dallas and lived there for 20 years and still consider it "home". My family and I moved to Dallas (Plano actually) in 1977 when I was but a lad of eight. After high school, I went to Texas A&M University graduating in 1992 (five of the best years of my life ). I worked in sales for five years and was transferred to New York by the company formerly known as Daisytek in 1998. Recently, my family and I were liberated from New York and now call the western suburbs of Chicago home. I still consider myself a Texan (and, yes, I realize I'm not a native) and visit often. In fact, the famliy and I will be headed down to God's Country on Monday for the Christmas.

Re: TEXAS Van Halen fans, check in here...
Well, not really from Texas, but damn close to it. I'm from Shreveport La. which is about 15 miles or so from the Tx/La state line.
But, got tons of family in Houston and Dallas. My mother was born and raised in Tyler. So, even tho Shreveport is close to Tx, I guess I could be a, "Texan" by proxy.
Texas is a great state, no doubt!!!
