Van Halen News
I'll post this back up since I lost all the posts today.
This from Melodicrock.com
[ QUOTE ]
BELIEVE IT? OR NOT....?:
Could it be true? It's been a long, long time coming, but are the most tortured group of fans in rock 'n' roll finally about to be put out of their misery? Could a certain band be about to rise from the dead? Could we dare to hope that this time it's actually happening?!!
[/ QUOTE ]
This is regarding VH as reported by Andrew (who runs melodicrock) at vhforums Here. At the moment he is unable to expand on this for what I would think are understandable reasons. To me this is exciting news, at least it's fun anticipating it!

Re: Van Halen News
Man, I'd like to believe, but something tells me KISS is reuniting again, or Lillian Axe or Tesla are "getting back together"...

Re: Van Halen News
Doesn't Kiss reunite with a different drummer and guitar player every year or so?

Re: Van Halen News
I have heard rumors from a couple of people who are "in the know" for several months that there's been actual legal discussions between Hagar and the brothers, but even they would say that anything regarding VH has to be taken with a grain of salt.

Re: Van Halen News
 I'll believe it when my ears are being dazzled with the fretboard mastry of one Edward Van Halen - not before.

Re: Van Halen News
I would be glad to hear anything from VH at this point. Not like that have a lot of years left in them, of course that's what i thought about the Stones too

Re: Van Halen News
The dude from Melodicrock doesn't usually get on a story for nothing. There may be indeed good things coming down.

Re: Van Halen News
He seems to believe in his source but his ass is really on the line with this one so he is treading lightly. I hope it comes through for him, regardless of the out come because he seems to be a great source.

Re: Van Halen News
I've checked out some of this stuff at VHLinks, Melodicrock and here including all the posts and rumours.
It sounds good.
I just hope Andrew's not getting bullshitted.
I know I sound pessimistic, but what else can you be when you think of all the rumours we've heard from people like Dweezil Zappa, to Michael Anthony himself... ?
If they get it wrong, then so can everyone else.
But fingers crossed eh ?

Re: Van Halen News
Actually, rumors from Dweezil and Mikey were true. Things just didn't turn out for the best and that's all...

Re: Van Halen News
Yeah, I guess. But rumours that are true but don't end up turning out are as bad as rumours that are untrue in a way.
In the end, we get all hyped up and then nothing happens.
Very annoying...
But I haven't lost all hope yet...
Now the question is, if they do tour, but they make it US only, am I gonna come over there to watch them ? I think I damn well am !!!
Will my marriage survive it ? Hmmm, toughie...
