VH concert tix too expensive

I have to admit I'm thinking twice about going to see VH on this tour.
The cheapest tix I found for the LA how are at 60 bucks in the nosebleed.
I'm on the fence right now. I'm really not feeling the urge to spend all this money for a band that has been fucking with us for so long.
Am I crazy? I don't think so.

Your turn now...

Re: VH concert tix too expensive

I hear ya CC. I paid 175 for the 4 star package in Philly, and I paid 55 bucks a piece for two seats at the jersey show. With all the fees and shit, it ran me about 140 or something like that. I'll be in the nosebleed section, but I dont care. As long as Eddie's sweet sound grace my ears I'll be fine. With the cost of tickets these days, I doubt if I'll go see anybody else this summer. Maybe Rush, but that's it.

All the more reason that the HFT after parties make perfect $ence!

he he

$95?

Holy Shit!

We're only chargin' $5.

I may not go either. I was thinkin' about going to the Oakland show then shootin' over to our gig, but I think I may just spend all my $$$ on beer...

Maybe I can get on Brad's guest list..

Re: VH concert tix too expensive

Well speaking from a perspective of no tour over here at the moment, I would probably spend up to £50-£60 to go see the geezers ($90-$106).

But I guess it's different, because they don't come here that often, and I think it's worth it for that little bugger on guitar alone !!!

That's about 3 -4 times what you'd normally pay, and yes, it's dickheads like me that are willing to pay the prices that pumps up the sale price, but what the f**k, I've been waiting for ages to be able to see these dudes.

I thought it was never gonna happen. Now it is, I'd have to expect to pay for it. Plus, I don't think thay've really been screwing around with us. They've just been doing bugger all - heh heh heh !!!

Concerts are WAY over-priced these days.I payed £25 for Dream Theater knowing I was gonna get every penny's worth in a 3,000 seater venue where everywhere is up close but I resent paying £50 to see the back of some twats head or a pin-prick of light 30 miles away that could be Eddie Murphy for all I can tell! For £50, I want to take a guitar home after the show! With this in mind, it's the reason why Mr Big, Rush (Farewell To Kings tour) and VH (supporting Black Sabbath) are still my best concerts because I feel like I'm a part of it.

Mr. Big put on a great show. For nearly 2 hours, Billy Sheehan played his heart out to me and my mates. We were right in front of him, and he kept asking if it was going alright, then shook our hands (well, more like crushed, he has a strong grip) and thanked us after the show.

Now that's value for money !!!

Another one who gives good concert are Thunder, who then always allow you to come back stage if you want.
