VH Kicking Big ASS In Detroit Rock City

Hey everyone just got back from the Detroit JLA show and all I have to say is it was freackin amazing!!! Ah but I am getting a litle ahead of myself, First the opeming act Silvertide, very solid band, their one guitarist was just a ball of energy, lead singer reminded me of a Robert Plant/ChrisRobinsone mix. Thye played for about a half hour and then it was on to the main event THE MIGHTY VAN HALEN! As soon as everyone saw one glimpse of Eddie on the side of the stage the place erupted, it was LOUD!! They opened with Jump and the place was going crazy, Sammy's voice was amazing and the guys was full energy, Eddie was full of energy and was having an absolute blast, Mikey was awesome , and Big Al was beating the crap out of the drums, the drums and bass was so thunderous that you could feel it in your chest! Eddie's stacks were black and white striped, red/black and white striped, and black and yellow striped.
One of the most awesome parts of the show for me was when Eddie brought out the black and yellow striped Charvel, he played Top Of The World, Unchained (sounded absolutlely amazing live), and Why Can't This Be Love on it. here is the setlist as I remember it anyway lol

Jump
Runaround
Humans Being
Up For Breakfast (Red Black And white striped Kramer)
Bass Solo
Somebody Get Me A Doctor
Poundcake
It's About Time
Drum Solo
Top Of The World (black and yellow striped charvel)
Unchained (black and yellow striped Charvel)
Why Can't This Be Love (black and yellow striped Charvel)
Eagles Fly/Sammy solo
Seventh Seal
Best Of Both Worlds
Eddie's Guitar solo
Dreams
Ain't Talkin Bout Love
Right Now
You Really Got Me
Panama
When It's Love

Tonight they definetly reiterrated my belief that they are the best band in the world!!! They will be hard pressed to find a better and louder audience than the one tonight, the place was packed, everone was standing and singing every word, myself included so much so that my voice is horse lol ! They're is nothing like hearing and seeing VH live, was absoluely amazing!

I can't believe you All Access folks got to hear Drop Dead Legs. I heard he even put the intro to it in his guitar solo that night. I would have killed to have been there!

Well he started the show with his hair down and then put it up after Al's solo i think it was, then took it back down and then just put it in a ponytail.
