The last I heard he was working with computers somewhere in NYC..He has pretty much given up playing and absolutely refuses to to play with Mike Tramp ever again...As sad as it is,we have all lost a great guitar player to other's attitudes...

I will bet that he still plays at home....I imagine that someone with the talents that Vito possesses would not just throw that away.... He probably uses those skills to relax now...I know he originally left the White Lion to be closer to his family...If you ever seen them live you can understand why Vito would refuse to play with Tramp again...Tramp was very over rated in my opinion.not stage presence...and not much talent....great with studio techs morphing his voice but live the man just never had it....

I don't think he's totally overcome his hand injury, so I'm not sure he plays anymore.
The music world really does need Vito back though....

Vito Bratta is a great guitar player. I like the stuffs he did on both "Pride" and "The Big Games" records. The solo for "Wait" is awesome. BTW, Greg D'angelo, White Lion's drummer, was the original Anthrax drummer.

Vito is bad ass! id love to see white lion make a new album him and tramp wrote killer songs! i actually met mike a few years ago he was real cool.

Do any of you guys have the White Lion live DVD that just came out? Its pretty good, alot of bootleg footage of Vito Bratta and the rest of the band that was previously unavailable. He sounds pretty good for a one-guitar band with NO keys backing him up.
Its not a high-quality Rock In Rio show or something like that, but its worth $14 if you ask me. |

Hi guys,
No offece but Mike Tramp in my opinion (and in many peoples opinion-I am sure) was one hell of a singer. I remember he was voted best vocals of the year at some point during white lions success.
I believe that Mike Tramp contributed just as much to White Lions success as did Vito Bratta, although, if I had to choose between them, i'd go for Vito. Having said that I still don't think that Mike should be spoken of poorly, his lyrics, vocal melody and just the sound of his voice is amazing and very pro!
Does any1 agree with me?
