KISS - "Black Diamond"

Reason being, "Black Diamond" has traditionally been a KISS setlist closer. Yes, so has "Rock and Roll all Nite", but that's not how I'm going out.

"Black Diamond" is the best way to cap off a KISS show so it's the way I'd perfer to cap off life.

I'd say UFO's Highflyer would be a good song to have playing at my funeral. That or Ozzy's Goodbye to Romance.

I keep swaying between

"The Next Time I'm In Town" by either Johnny Cash or Mark Knopfler/Chet Atkins,

Ring Of Fire by Johnny Cash,

"Summer's Day Song" by Paul McCartney (probably my favourite Macca track),

"Not Dark Yet" by Bob Dylan (my dad wants this & "Trying To Get To Heaven Before They Close The Door",

"When I'm Dead & Gone" by McGuinness Flint

"Comfortably Numb" by Pink Floyd, purely for the comic value of the opening lines.

and

"Mrs O'Leary's Cow" (aka "Fire") by Brian Wilson/Beach Boys as the curtains close.

I probably spend way too much time pondering this than is good for me. I just hope I don't die before I tell anyone that knows me what I want played.

Love this thread - only thing is, you can't play anything poignant or meaningful, you've gotta have something that makes the people out there crying, stop and say "what the fuck?" - so my choice is my most hated song ever - Gloria Gaynor "I Will Survive".
