What the F\"\"K is up with Eddie\'s hair?
Did anyone see the KTLA news clip of the Van Halen rehersal show? What the hell was up with Eddie's Hair... a Mohock?What the?? and the stupid tid bit where he penned marks all over the Neck of his wolfy??? I agree,I think he's totally lost it!its all about the money,and thats what will keep him goin.not the original guitar playin but the cash,why would he pimp his own son to come out and jam with him? hey----must be the money!!!!!!!!!

Ok , saw it. Well, the hair is up in a weird style, but it doesn't look like Ed shaved the sides though...
They're just goofing around....

I just saw Eddie back on stage playing guitar.
As for his hair, I'm reckoning that it's got to that stage where it's pissing him off again. I remember him hacking it all off once, just because it was pissing him off. With me ?
Maybe he's gearing up for a new haircut. It certainly looks like he wanted it out of his face and eyes, so the only logical thing is to pull it in the opposite direction - up !!!
So what if he looks a dick ? It was just great to see the bastard tearing it up once again !

Because he restyled his hair u immediatly think he wants money? do u have any idea how many people still buy VH albums these days? the guys loaded i think moneys last thing on his mind, i think hes just dying to get out there and make music!

I think you might be getting mixed up with the first time they did it. Again, if memory serves correctly (and this is me pitting my old grey matter against yours here [img]images/smilies/icon_surprised.gif[/img]), they both did it as a bet, but they both completely shaved their heads. I think this was when Dave was still in the band, but the brain is refusing to help me anymore so [img]images/smilies/dunno.gif[/img] I read it "somewhere", so I think it's in my Guitar World Guitar Gods edition (not the most recent one).
What I was talking about was the Balance tour short haired, tipped highlights look. I've read numerous times that Ed was doing something and he was getting really pissed off at his hair falling in front of his eyes. So he just picked up a pair of scissors and hacked the bastard off.
When he later looked in the mirror, he sorta went, "Oh F**K !!! [img]images/smilies/icon_doh.gif[/img]"
SO he had a complete restyle. That's why I quoted it. I'm guessing he's possibly got to the stage where it's faloing in his eyes again and pissing him off, but has learnt his lesson not to hack away at it in a fit of fury this time !!!

i think originally just before balance eddie claimed it was a golfing bet with someone that he shaved it off ..
but didn't he later admit or was found out that he was just drunk and out of it and did it ?
either way i gotta say wtf is with his hair now !
