Guns n Roses?

I mean, they were REALLY good. and then they turned to shit. Lies, AFD were quality. UYI 1 & 2 had some brilliant moments and even the Spagetti Incident had some decent stuff.

I know they had their casaulties along the way but Axl should have been able to hold the band name together. It has been 11 years since GnR released an Album and that was a covers cd.

I have heard that Axl got the new line up to re record AFD but I have never heard any of it. I also heard a live track of Chinese Democracy - which was shit. I have to say GnR have been possibly the biggest name under achievers since the Sex Pistols.

Axl was a brilliant musician but his ego got the best of him and ruined possibly the greatest R&R band of all time!

axl sings like a ball-less pig now and the new band is basically industrial distortion crap except for buckethead who left. Finck comes up with pretty melodic and nice versions of old GnR solos but nothing like Slash. the new band is basically selling on the GnR name and not the music. Ever since Izzy left , the quality of their songs generally went downhill.

I heard they were good in concert last year, but I can't say. It is all a big dissapointment. I like Velvet Revolver alot though
