Better just be Van Halen, and nothing but Van Halen, come on, its a reunion tour....who honestly wants to see an opening act in this show?

I would like to see the Donington 1984 line-up again...Accept, Motley Crue, Y and T, Gary Moore, Van Halen and AC/DC. Corkin'

I'd like to see Velvet Revolver open for them if they don't play a solo-gig. I'd much rather have a 3 hour VH show with no openers.

Velvet Revolver would kick ass, but there is a chance they could upstage VH, so it won't happen.

Re: Who\'s going to open for Van Halen
They will find someone who will tour for free exposure so they can keep all the money.
I remember on the 1984 tour in AZ the opening band was Velcroze....worst band I ever heard....they only made it through 3 songs before they had to leave for safety reasons.

No way...you can't be seroius. If it was...nothing personal, you just did not belong at that concert.
Now I feel bad....you are joking right?

Also the opening band is "Silvertide" according to a very reliable source at the VH forums.

Re: Who\'s going to open for Van Halen
It's definitely Silvertide. They have an announcement on their website. Not a bad band. I saw them open for Alice Cooper last year. They remind me of Jet.
