Wolfmother

Anyone heard of Wolfmother? I think they're a brilliant band myself... Definately one of my favourite new discoveries this year!

I've heard alot of people say these guys are just ripping of Led Zep. I can see the similarities for sure but they are an awesome band....

Anyone else agree with me?

I definately agree...to me Wolfmother sounds like a cross between Led Zeppelin (vocally speaking, and the fantasy-like lyrrics. they don't sound like Zeppelin to me otherwise.), and Black Sabbath. Those riffs just scream Tony Iommi to me. They sound quite original to me though...there's something else there I haven't been able to put my finger on it yet. I loved their debut album. I hope they can follow up with something that's at least worthy to succeed their debut.

I've only heard a handful of songs by them but I liked what I heard. I've seen them play some stuff live too, like on TV shows and stuff. Quality band, from what I can tell.
