Big Blues Jam - Sign up right here !
Ok if you would like to be a part of this new collaboration you can sign up here ... theres a total of 8 useable parts ... but i feel one chorus might not be enough for people to show their stuff . so i'm gonna seperate it so it's good for 5 people to do their thing ..... here are the times :
First will be an intro sortof thing which is one chorus
0:00 - :037 (1 chorus)
then :
0:37 - 1:27 (2 chorus')
then theres a keyboard solo in there for 2 chorus'
then :
2:17 - 3:06 (2 chorus')
3:06 - 3:56 (2 chorus')
then bass solo for 3 chorus'
then
5:09 - end which is one chorus and the ending slash outro..
i hope you could make sense of that .if my times are off by a second or 2 just play to the end of the chorus it should all make sense when you play through it.
i thought about putting a spot on top of the keys solo but it really didn't sound to good when the keys started getting into the solo .
i hope we get a different batch of players this time so we can hear what everyone can do !

We'll need a nice volounteer to put this together for us as well ... i'm really not the one who'd be good at doing it ! ... you can find the backing to practice on in the other thread .. scott posted it up . we'll try and put another better quality version up to properly record on .
so don't post up your solos just yet. and make sure you sign in here or pm me before you do decide to solo

This is a great chance for those who were interested last time but didn't get a chance! As for piecing it together, ask VHFanOU812.

Re: Big Blues Jam - Sign up right here !
I played in the last co-op song so I don' t know if it's PC to reserve a spot this time around.
I would like the 3:06 to 3:56 slot, but if a newbie wants it instead, I'm OK with it and will gladly let someone else have some fun.
Let me know.

Dude, there is no way. Some of these files come in around 8 Mb which means an hour to download one file on your dial up! No porn for you!

I put something together for the ending.Take a listen...if ya wanna use it be my guest...or if someone else wants the ending, that's cool also. If you want to use mine, let me know and I'll send whoever the lead track without the backing. I'll be going out of town sunday morning for a week.

Re: Big Blues Jam - Sign up right here !
Guys, looks like I have to pass on this one. The sample for the backing track is not recognized by ProTools and I can't import it into my session or synchronize it.
I tried to convert it to a AIFF file but even though the conversion seems to work, the files ends up being 0 seconds long once I import it into the software. I've had this happen before, but can't figure out why.
I don't feel like digging any longer. I've spend 2 hours trying to figure this out to no avail.
Spot 3:06 to 3:56 is open now...
