Re: Big Whole Forum Jam - SIGN UP
I think you should look at the m-audio firewire 410...hop over to http://www.m-audio.com look under pro stuff. It was recomended to me and I recomend it all the time. If you need more than 2 simultaneous inputs, take a look at the new edirol firewire device that has 8 ins...edirol.com

Mond, yours sounds great and i think i got it aligned pretty perfectly.

Hi Towlie,
Thanx for this ! It's very "comfort-zone-y", but then again, I have been away from the guitar and recording for a while ( ) so what do I expect ?
Should be pretty simple to figure out if it's aligned or not, as I copped out and follwed the rhythm. Well, I didn't actually cop out. My first attempts, the wife said didn't really go, so I just tried to follow the rhythm of it in the end.
But, you say it sounds great, so I will shut up and leave it to the others to analyse when we get the finished version !
Thanx for doing this, Towlie, much appreciated !

(Hmm, on listening to it again, I realise I am talking arse and being too hard on myself, which is so unlike me... )

Re: Big Whole Forum Jam - SIGN UP
I'm sure it will dude. Just take wahwah's advice :

Play it slow and steady and forget that you are recording.

I'll just further this by saying that if you follow the above advice, you will stay true to yourself, and that's the best thing you can do.

Re: Big Whole Forum Jam - SIGN UP
I'm working on mine today. I had several appointments this week and getting my teeth yanked, but I have today all to myself!

Re: Big Whole Forum Jam - SIGN UP
Hey guys, you know there's no rush. It was just with me being the start, I didn't want the scenario where everyone would be waiting for me.
Plus, you know me, I'm a say-er, not a do-er, and I did try to get out of recording it, many times.
So I just pushed myself to do mine. Please don't feel pressurised into doing a rush job dudes. It's a bloddy one off that I got mine in first, it really is !
