Dazed and Confused (drum part)
Okay, I just laid a VERY raw sounding Dazed and Confused drum track. It was done on an acoustic set with ONE mic. Take it for what it's worth...I'm no professional, but it's decent for my first recording. I may do more, if there are requests. I play mostly Zeppelin and Van Halen...some Floyd and Rush.
Download the file here
If you add guitar and bass, please send me the finished file!

Re: Dazed and Confused (drum part)
Let me know if you can't work with this file type. It's an .m4a, which is an AAC file, compressed by iTunes. If you can, download iTunes for Windows from Apple.com and use it to convert to .mp3...thanks!
Whoops, use the link from above..

Re: Dazed and Confused (drum part)
I don't think it's the format as the download link does not work at all. R Click, L Click, nothing...but I would like to hear it very much.

Re: Dazed and Confused (drum part)
Now right click and ...Save as on the first link. This shouldn't be this difficult, but the file is 5 megs. The .mp3 was 8 megs

Re: Dazed and Confused (drum part)
I worked. Hey man.. It's great playing!! The mix is a bit rough on the low end, but with one mic, it's pretty fantastic..would you mind if EJ and I worked on this and posted it up here? I would like an email address where I can send files 5 megs or so so that you can hear the mixes and give your input on the process. Thanks for posting it!

Re: Dazed and Confused (drum part)
Thanks! The acoustics in my basement are awful right now. I'm planning on correcting that soon, and will probably be getting a Roland V-tour kit that I will be able to plug right in to my Mac. You guys do whatever you want with it, since that's why I posted it. I've been promising EJ I'd get something on here. I'm going to do plenty more in the near future--next will be VH Outta Love Again, I think (I know he likes early VH stuff). I believe my mail account can handle up to 10megs... anubis72@insightbb.com
Thanks again, and enjoy!
