Heavy Metal-Death Metal Only Tune Maybe!!

Hi guys, awsome site here I just joined and read some posts in the jam room never thought of making a tune via the internet ..killer idea! I am for sure wanting to try this only with fairly heavy stuff 6 or 7 strings. (slayer/shadows fall/nevermore/devil driver) type stuff..post back if your at all interested. I have no parts as of yet but many years worth of riffs...LOL.

Cool I'm completly new to tune making via the internet I would rather someone eles got the ball rolling because they know the procedure but we'll see who posts some interrest in this music style and maybe lets keep it to a managable amount of people that way its not a cluster ____! I will attach a sample of what I have in mind this riff(s) was just thought up minutes ago and kinda dug it! Its on 7 string so in B but I also got lots of 6 strings so what ever works for people also got a 5 string bass so could also throw down some thunder!
PS - This is unedited too so might be able to tighten it up if anyone has some tips on capturing good 7 string sound its hard Im using a sm58 mic into a zoom digital recorder in front of two Carvin 400 watt 4x12's input would be awsome.

Sounds like a cool idea.....and in the spirit of avoiding a complete clusterfuck here are a few things to keep in mind.

Someone that knows how to mix/align tracks needs to be in charge.

Then it all really begins with a drum track....and you should also put some timing clicks at the beginning of it for alignment.

Then divide up the chores however you wish.

It's important that you have everyone send their individual tracks with no drums or anything underneath to the producer (but keep the alignment clicks at the beginning.....or the final mix will be for shit....been there, done that! The order is pretty straight forward....drums, main guitars, bass, leads and vox.

Sign them up and knock it out!

Dude... You can use this as an example. Find a backing track you want to play over... Or drums that you can play rythm over. Now that you have your backing with your rythm recorded turn it into an MP3... Wav files are too big, which is how most recordings are in wav format. Now, decide how you want to split your backing times up into time slots. Post your MP3 with the time slots available. And there you have it. A jam to jam to.!
