yeh man! ohhhh this GT-6 thing is the best, thanks to goport i can download premade tones for whoever i want. i just downloaded:
vai - sisters
vai - for the love of god
vai - passion and warefare
vai - ballerina

and many more its unbelievable, thanks for all the tips fellas. but i don't have a mixer so the only way id be able to record is with a mic... ill do that if you want but the quality will be shit as a fuck and i wouldn't be able to mix it or anything

You don't need a mixer....just get an adapter to run the effects unit into the mic or line in on your computer.

Then you are set.

Mickey - you need one of these. https://www.htfr.com/more-info/?catno=MR29118 you should be able to get one from any electrical/hardware store - this will allow you to at least get a sound onto your computer. Better still, seeing as you have 2 speaker outputs on the GT6, see if you can make/buy a cable with two stereo 1/4" phone jacks (female) to a mini 3.5 mm stereo plug.

Well , wouldnt have minded participating .... only reason I didnt to begin with is Im not sure exactly on the howto's of recording so someone else can add to it or I would have ... Didnt wanna slow anyone down . Cant wait to hear it tho and glad ya found someone for the open slot ! Maybe next time for me !
