My Always With You, Always With Me Cover
I know many people have covered Satch's Always With You, Always With Me but I thought I'd take a stab at it too. I love the song and the tone. I used my Carvin C66 and a patch I created on my POD XT Live. Let me know if you would like the patch info. The patch sounds a bit more authentic in person than it does mixed down to MP3.
Please be frank and let me know what you think. I'd appreciate any constructive criticism you can give.
Thanks.
Dave

you might wanna stick this in the covers and tributes section rather than the jam room. will get more attention in the right subforum.

It sounds pretty good to me especially the tapping part, I think you got that part spot on. Yeah, I'd like to grab that patch if you don't mind.

Thanks dannyboy. I'll post it there.
The patch is created with:

I added the Screamer stomp model w/ Drive at 100%, Gain 25% and Tone 20%. Digital Delay w/ Time 500ms, Feedbk 21%, Bass 50%, Treb 50% and Mix 21%. Standard Spring Reverb w/ Dwell 50%, Tone 50% and Mix 29%.

Hey Dave, thanks for posting the settings but if you can download the patch in the Amps Modeling Section of the Forum that would be fantastic.

No problem. I'm new to the POD XT Live so I'm going to have to read the manual a bit.

Very well done! I used to know how to play the whole thing, but I got shot out of the air at an open mic at a local bar. The guy doing the rythm sections had this song in 12/8 as opposed to 3/4. The difference in accented beats totally threw me off and it all collapsed like a house of cards.

well i am a huge satch fan and know his music as well as anybody. you were note for note and the tone was great too. i really enjoyed listening to it and you did a great job. the only thing i would like to hear and i'm being really picky, would for you to let some of the notes ring a little longer to make it a little less choppy in a few spots. really enjoyed this and hope to hear more from you
