New Guitars 101 Tribute band Idea
This is an idea that came to me the other night after watching a show on tribute bands. i figure hey,, why couldn't we do something like that on here? well here goes my idea...
once a month,, we pick a band to pay tribute to that band for 1 full month...
anyone that wants to be involved in it signs up for that month. and then we get the people together as teams..teams would substitute as a tribute band like real life bands. then you pick a anme for your band for that month... like for insrtance,,, say we did vh for one month,, then you would pic a name like "Black N Blue" for your band name. then for that month,, that band your in would make covers of the band we pay tribute to on here. no limit to what tunes or what you make or how many you do. this is just an idea. i wouldnt begin to know how to run this idea,, so i'm open to options and all from anyone that thinks this would be cool like i do. just an idea i had that i thought would be cool to try somehow.

here is something that vhfan brought to ....getting people to step up and take the lead. You will have to have a system where someone steps up as the team leader and supplies a BT....then produces the project. I think as a team we could split doin backings or what not and decide what to do and all when it comes time to making the covers like we normally do. i just open to all ideas and to see if this would work or is it a flop.

How come I didn't think of that? This is a great idea. There's gonna be a lot of participation from everyone it seems.

I'd be willing to do it to for sure ty for the input. I figure,,since there are alot of backings on this site,, and even if there isnt one for a certain tune can always try to even make something. so much talent on here and to do tribute band idea I thought might be cool. hope more like this idea.

Everyone knows how much I like Air Supply and the Bay City Rollers....but I think AC\DC, Aerosmith, VH, or Bad Company might be some easier ones to start out with IMO.
