Ok, I've got a track in mind that will give at LEAST 9-10 jammers a chance to shred. Rather than put the time slots down, I'd rather find out how many are interested and then divide it up. It CAN be divided into TWICE the number but the slots would then only be about 20 seconds long. Before anybody signs up, PLEASE READ THE STICKY FILE AT THE TOP OF THE JAM FORUM regarding a few do's and don't to make this thing work. If you are not sure if you CAN commit due to work commitments or whatever, then don't. We hope to accomodate EVERYBODY who is interested meaning we may have to do the track twice but first lets see who IS interested AND able to get something down by latest next Sunday 20th June?
On to the track...it's a track by that ambidextrous God Of Shred Michael Angelo! The backing track quality is quite low but I've attached a collaboration that I did with J-Mart back in January to give you an idea of how it can sound. It's not at 128k quality as it goes over the 6mb limit but you get the idea.
The key parts of the song are in F# and D. In this collab, I wrote the twin lead to break it up every now and again and did all the parts in F# and Jeremy did all the parts in D. Once I get the conscensus that everybody wants to use this track, I'LL POST THE BACKING TRACK IN A NEW THREAD FOR ALL TO DOWNLOAD. The choice is either 9 guitarists do a solo over one F# and one D section OR twice as many guitarists play one piece each but this will make it rather short...have a think and we'll see how many want to join in before we make a decision. Any questions, either PM me here, or e-mail me at
wahwahwatson@btinternet.com I'd also like to offer JETHRO a part before all others as he missed out last month. Remember, if you CAN'T COMMIT TO IT, LET SOMEONE ELSE instead of us chasing people for parts.
Thank you Gentlemen...now to the starting line and start your engines
