Short solo needed for 80's style synth-disco-track
Hi there!
I'm a writer and singer of 80's style Synth-Disco-songs (actually it's called Italo Disco)
and am looking for someone who can lay down a flashing solo for one of
my songs called "MR HYDE", which will definitely be released on a CD compilation and maybe also on 12" vinyl in Europe by independent labels.
I can't pay you any money because there's no money involved -
but you'll get full credits for your solo (for example on discogs.com and
of course on the record sleeve or the CD inlay).
I know it's not the typical rock style but think back in the 80's,
when artists like Eddie van Halen or Steve Lukather put fantastic solos
into pop songs.
You can find the part for which I need the solo attached to this post (just 1 MB, starting at 0:08/09).
You're welcome to play any kind of style. If there's more than one good solo, I could also include two or three on the extended version - just like on Dio's stars.
If you've come up with something, just send me a PM and I'll check out your ideas. For the final mix I need your solo as a single track, not downmixed with my backing track.
PS: Greetings fly out to murphman! He used to play on my tracks and always did a fantastic job!
